pidgeonhouse mountain
pastel on paper
4 x (h35 x 25cm.)

These 4 drawings are of the Pidgeonhouse Mountain, a landmark peak on the south coast of New South Wales, and so named by Captain Cook as he sailed within sight.
To the indigenous people however, it had always been Dittol; Breast.
The light and atmospheric conditions affect our perceptions of the 'mood' of all landscape forms.
