Whatever survives the current plethora of ‘new media’ commutations as visual communication systems, they do not by some automatic process make previous media redundant or irrelevant. They remain current ‘fashion’ until history makes more final decisions about their relevance and survival. The ability of man to use just eye and hand coordination and simple materials to make something that only the human mind could conceive and produce is part of who we are. Long after the last pixel has flickered into oblivion there may yet be a man (or woman) with pigment and brushes, a piece of clay, or a burnt stick and paper……

2. Confident social dexterity and skills; a talent for chatter, with wine
3. Some skill and aptitude in some form of visual communication.
